A family of jewelers works in its own atelier above its showroom in Sultanahmet. For a private visit, the bench is yours to watch: drawing, casting, setting and polishing, explained in your language.
The journey of a ring
What is on the bench depends on the day’s work; the jeweler talks you through each stage.
1. Design
A drawing from your idea, or a piece from the showroom.
2. Casting
Gold poured and shaped into the band.
3. Setting
The stone set by hand, prong by prong.
4. Polishing
The final finish and the engraving, if you add one.
5. Yours
Sized, checked and handed over with its paperwork.

Do we have to buy anything?
No. The visit is about seeing how a fine ring is made. If something in the showroom speaks to you, take your time; any purchase is your own decision and is made with the atelier.
Can we have a ring made to our own design?
On request. Tell us what you have in mind when you write. The atelier looks at the design, the stone and the size, and confirms the price and the time it needs before any work begins.
Can we add an engraving?
On request: initials, a date or a short line. The atelier confirms what fits the ring and how long it takes.

Yes. Our proposal planners at Istanbul Romance arrange the moment itself, and the atelier visit or the ring can be part of the plan.
Where is the atelier?
In Sultanahmet, Istanbul’s Old City. We share the atelier’s name and address when your visit is confirmed. A VIP car from your hotel can be added (from €23 one way).
What if something needs attention after we leave?
Write to us. Keep your receipt or invoice and send us a copy; we take the matter up with the atelier on your behalf and help resolve it.
