1. Who we are
Couple Hamam arranges private hammam rituals for two in hotel hammams and historic hamams in Türkiye. It is a brand of Empire Concierge LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, which decides how your details are used (the data controller). Online bookings for the Old City rituals are made on couplehamamistanbul.com, which is also run by Empire Concierge and has its own privacy notice.
2. What we collect
When you send a request (a hotel hammam or the Luxury Collection): your name, e-mail address and phone or WhatsApp number, the hotel or ritual you chose, your preferred date and time, any extras, the place you are staying or your pickup address if you give it, a celebration note if you add one, and any other note.
Where you came from, if the link you used carried it (for example an advertising campaign tag or an ad click ID), so we know which of our adverts work.
When you tap a WhatsApp button: a short reference code (for example “Ref: AB12CD”) is added to your message and stored with the ad click details of your visit, if any, so we can tell which advert led to the conversation. The code is kept in your browser for this visit only (session storage).
Messages: the WhatsApp, chat and e-mail conversations you have with our concierge.
Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited).
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
To answer your request, check your date with the venue, confirm your time and contact you about it (steps you ask us to take before a contract, and the contract itself). To prevent duplicate or fraudulent requests and to keep the records the law requires (legitimate interests and legal obligations). Measuring which adverts work relies on our legitimate interest and, where the law requires it, your consent.
Ticking the box on a request form confirms that you have read this notice and agree to be contacted about that request; it is not a marketing consent. We do not send marketing and we do not sell your details.
4. Advertising measurement and cookies
This website uses the Google tag to measure our Google Ads. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland start with advertising cookies off until they allow them; elsewhere they are on by default. Anyone can change the choice at any time with “Advertising privacy choices” at the bottom of every page.
Without your permission, Google receives only cookieless signals that a reservation or request was made (its reference and value). Your name, e-mail and phone are never sent to Google. Ad personalisation signals are switched off. Declining does not affect your request.
5. Who receives it
The hotel or hamam that hosts you and, for a pickup, the driver receive only what they need to welcome you, such as your name, the ritual, the day and time and the pickup details. They never receive your phone number or e-mail address.
Service providers that host this website and run our request records, e-mail, chat and WhatsApp messages (such as Cloudflare, our e-mail provider, our chat provider and WhatsApp), and Google for advertising measurement as described above, acting on our instructions or as independent controllers where they say so.

6. Transfers abroad
Our company and some of our service providers are outside Türkiye and outside the European Economic Area, so your details may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on standard contractual clauses or another safeguard the law allows (GDPR Chapter V, KVKK Article 9).
7. Other services this website uses
Fonts come from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of a normal web request. Hotel suggestions while you type where you are staying come from a list on this website; nothing is sent until you submit the form. On some pages a chat window is provided by our chat provider; it receives what you write in it.
8. Payment
Nothing is paid on this website. You pay at the venue. We never ask for card details.
9. How long we keep it
Records of requests and reservations and the related messages are kept for up to 3 years after your visit for accounting and dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised. Requests and conversations that do not lead to a reservation are kept for up to 12 months. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
10. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, to restrict or object to their use, to withdraw a consent you gave, or to receive a copy, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. These rights come from the GDPR (Articles 15 to 22) and, in Türkiye, the KVKK (Article 11). You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Türkiye this is the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
11. Changes
We update this notice when our service changes and show the date at the top.
